A feeder from our group, Carmen, noticed one of the street cats (Grace) looked pregnant, and brought her home. Soon thereafter, she gave birth to five kittens. Another one of our volunteers, Jamly, next fostered Mama and the 5 kittens for a couple months until the kittens were ready to be fixed. After having Grace and her kittens fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped, Jamly turned over the kittens to Humane Society Silicon Valley, which quickly got them adopted by compassionate caregivers. Carmen adopted Grace, and says Grace is loving life indoors!
