This sweet tux, known alternatively as Roxy and Tuna, is a real survivor. She and her mate and three kittens lived on a woman’s property in San Mateo, but were fed sporadically. So our group of volunteers fed them nightly, along with many other homeless cats on the street. Her mate and one of the kittens didn’t survive the fast cars on that street, but she did, as did one of her kittens. Rachel from our group trapped her and took care of her for over six months, but then she escaped…only to finally show up several months later at a neighbor’s yard. The neighbor had to move out, but another neighbor is now taking care of her with Rachel.
